SWIM LESSONS
Mission
To effectively teach individuals of all ages how to swim in a safe and enjoyable environment while building a sense of joy and calmness in the water for a lifetime.
Group Swim Lessons
Group Lessons are 4 weeks in duration and offer classes twice a week: Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs. Group lessons have a 6:1 ratio.
Evening Class Times:
Monday/Wednesday
- 6:00pm- Beginner 1 | Beginner 2 | Intermediate
- 6:30pm- Beginner 1 | Beginner 2 | Intermediate
Tuesday/Thursday
- 6:00pm- Beginner 1 | Beginner 2 | Intermediate
- 6:30pm- Beginner 1 | Beginner 2 | Intermediate
Registration Deadline will be the day before classes start or until filled.
Beginner 1
Your child must be 3 years old. (Exploration) This level will be working on fully submerging face, supported floats on front/back, supported flutter kicks on front /back, and entering the pool safely by themselves.
Beginner 2
Your child needs to be able to float on their front/back with support. (Basic skills) This level will be working on retrieving objects in chest deep water, floating on front/back unsupported, unsupported flutter kick on front/back.
Intermediate
Your child needs to be at least 5 years old and able to float on their front/back without support. (Stroke readiness) This level will be working on jumping into the deep water from the side of the pool, coordinating arm stroke for crawl with breathing to the side, coordinating back stroke, learning to tread water, and elementary backstroke.
Private Swim Lessons
Private Lessons are 2-4 weeks in duration and offer classes twice a week. Private lessons have a 1:1 ratio. All ages welcome. Pick your class day: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Pick your class time: 5-5:30pm, 5:30-6pm. Classes are 30 minutes in duration. Limited space is available. If sessions are full, you will be added to a waitlist and called when a new session opens.
