Lead Service Line Inventory
The City of Harrisonville’s Water Treatment Department is seeking assistance from our customers to complete a required inventory of water service line materials. Customers who submit this form with complete information by May 31, 2024, are eligible to receive $20.00 off of a future utility bill.
We are committed to distributing safe, reliable, and affordable drinking water to our community. We continue to deliver on this commitment by completing a comprehensive inventory of the materials that make up our community’s drinking water service lines – the pipes that bring water into your home from the water main.
We are required to submit a complete inventory to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources that includes the private portion of the service line and the portion owned by Harrisonville. Customers can identify service lines by the service line leading to your shut-off valve. Please use the provided fact sheets to learn more about how you can help Harrisonville complete our mandatory service line inventory.

This graphic illustrates where the private service line is likely located in relation to your home or business. Most customers will be able to locate the service line at the isolation valve on the first floor of your home or your basement. Another option is to locate the water meter and try to see the material of the pipe leaving the water meter and traveling toward your home or business.
If you have questions about the survey and would like to be put in touch with City staff, please email leadsurvey@harrisonville.com or call 816-380-0646. Please understand that while this number is directly connected to this project, it will not be manned 24/7, so if staff are not available to answer the phone, please leave a voicemail and staff will return your call as quickly as possible.
