Harrisonville Downtown Parking & Traffic Study

Traffic study banner

If you’ve visited Downtown Harrisonville recently, you may have noticed the parking options and traffic flow in the area have room for improvement. As our community continues to grow, finding a solution to these challenges is becoming increasingly important.

The City of Harrisonville is working with Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) and local infrastructure consultants on a parking and traffic study to explore ways to alleviate parking shortages, maximize current parking opportunities, and pinpoint traffic management concerns. These recommendations will be packaged into an easy-to-use plan for the City to implement.

THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT!

The project team has completed their evaluations and have identified both key traffic and parking issues and solutions for better intersections, sidewalk connections and parking options. Click the links below to see their results.
